In partnership with the Government of Guam, the Mayors’ Council of Guam, and the Guam Visitors Bureau, PBS Guam presents a four-hour live broadcast honoring the patriotism, resilience, and unity of the CHamoru people. 

Join PBS Guam for live coverage of the 82nd Guam Liberation Day Parade on Tuesday, July 21, beginning at 9:00 a.m., as our island comes together to commemorate one of the most significant moments in Guam's history.

This year's theme, Para i Onra, Para i Gloria — For Honor, For Glory — serves as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who endured the hardships of World War II and those who fought to restore freedom to Guam.

While Liberation Day is a celebration of liberty and the enduring spirit of our people, it is also an opportunity to pause and reflect on the profound cost of that freedom. Through remembrance and gratitude, we honor the CHamoru survivors, the servicemembers who gave their lives on Guam's shores, and the generations whose sacrifices continue to shape our island today.
